- IFC approves US$300mn for Panama Canal expansion
The Word Bank’s International Finance Corporation (IFC) has approved a US$300mn loan to the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) to support its US$5.25bn expansion project, IFC reported in a release. - Barbara Bush Library exhibits Panamanian children’s art
The Barbara Bush Library is featuring a Panamanian Children’s Art Exhibit, showing the works of children of Ponuga, the Province of Veraguas and the Republic of Panama. - British company develops former U.S. base in Panama
The British company London & Regional Properties has begun transforming a former U.S. air base in Panama into a residential and commercial complex. The $700 million Panama Pacific center at the former Howard Air Base will include 20,000 homes and 11 million square feet of commercial space.
